COVID-19 Policy

Social Distancing and Safety practices:

Here at Wing’s Diner we want to ensure that all of our customers, staff and suppliers feel safe and comfortable when visiting us.  We’ve written out the new processes and procedures that we’ve put into place to share with you all. Contactless Collection Only:

We have rebranded our website and invested in a new online click and collect service. The idea behind this is to minimise the interaction between customers and team members in and around the building.

Orders will need to be placed via our website, with the customer being able to select a designated time for collection. The collection times have been divided into 15 minute slots, with a maximum limit of two customers per 15 minutes. This restriction will be reviewed and may be amended if safe to do so.  All payments will be made online at the time of ordering.   

Small Bar Layout Changes:

Customers will have a clearly labelled entrance and exit route in and out of Small Bar.  Sections of Small Bar, such as the upstairs seating area and the toilets will remain closed to the public.  No more than two customers will be allowed inside Small Bar at any time, the two metre social distancing rule must be adhered to.

Staff welfare and cleaning procedures:

Wing’s Diner has a five star hygiene rating and we will work together to continue to maintain our high standards of food hygiene. We are supplying face masks and gloves to our staff whilst they are working, hand sanitiser will also be available for staff and customer use.  Wing’s Diner will operate with a minimum number of staff on shift at a time (so please be patient with us if it’s busy).  This may change at any moment, in line with Government advice as it is released. The bar area, tables and all contact areas will be disinfected thoroughly every 30 minutes. Staff will continue to wash their hands and wear PPE to ensure no cross contamination. 

Customer Compliance:

These procedures and practices will only work if we all adhere to the systems and work together. Therefore we ask that you can please be patient, take notice and be aware of your surroundings. We can’t make this work without your help – so THANK YOU in advance.
